Don't Get Zonked!
Do you need a review game for kids that:
1. any age group of kids love to play
2. can work for any subject or topic
3. can be played independently or in groups?
Look no further. Zonk is here.
This is such a simple little game. As the teacher, you are able to change/make your own rules. This is very flexible.
You have to come up with your own review questions. Then you can play teams or play against person to person. You can decide.
Download and print off the Zonk tokens. Cut them out. Each token either has a point value to it or has "zonk" on it. Turn your pieces over so the kids can't see the point values then have them pick one token on their turn, or you can have them pick as many tokens as they want. If they turn over a zonk they lose all their points.
Simple right? It's the competitiveness of it all that kids like.
I usually ask each child a review question first before they draw their point tokens. And of course, if they get it wrong you can decide what happens. Either help them get it correct, or ask someone else the same questions. You get to decide.
